After a tough second half of the season, Ferrari and Vettel are under huge pressure. With Hamilton within reach of the title this weekend, they are going to face a tough challenge to keep their championship hopes alive.
Lewis Hamilton dominated qualifying – topping all 3 sessions – to take pole position, with Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel in second as he hopes to keep the championship battle going with a strong result in the race. Bottas was third, ahead of Ricciardo and Raikkonen – who set identical times.
A dominant win for Hamilton brings him even closer to his fourth world championship. His rival, Vettel, finished second ahead of Verstappen. However, after the race Verstappen was given a controversial penalty for his incredible overtake on Raikkonen on the final lap.
