After a tough start to the season, Hamilton is looking to end Rosberg’s run of victories. His results at this track are very good, having won the only two races staged here. However, he is not the only one going for the win. Ferrari have not yet shown their hand this season, after a multitude of issues. Could this be their chance to stop Mercedes in their championship defense?
Yet another engine issue for Lewis Hamilton means he will start the race 10th on the grid. Rosberg took an unchallenged pole, with Bottas joining him on the front row after Vettel’s penalty. Vettel will start the race 7th, whilst his teammate will line up 3rd.
A fantastic comeback for Hamilton from tenth on the grid, who finished second. Rosberg took another easy win, unchallenged throughout the race. Ferrari had a terrible start of the race, after Vettel was hit twice by Kvyat sending him into the wall. Raikkonen had a good result, however, with 3rd. Williams also had a strong race, finishing fourth and fifth.
