With Ferrari taking victory in Australia, Mercedes will be desperate to get back on top this weekend. But, after three years of dominance, will Mercedes finally be pushed back to number two? Another victory for Ferrari in China would certainly give Mercedes something to worry about.

For Red Bull, Australia was somewhat disappointing. But we shouldn’t rule them out yet, last year in China they were strong and will hoping to have another good result this year. Also, with rain forecast for Sunday’s race, the team should benefit from the weather variability.
After Melbourne, there was a lot of criticism regarding the lack of overtaking. It looked as if the fears of the rule changes preventing overtakes had come true. However, Australia is known to be tough for overtaking anyway. In China, overtaking should be easier and we should have more racing action this weekend. Another positive from last race was that cars seemed to be able to follow one another more easily, which should hopefully lead to closer racing.
Weather should also play a part, with rain forecast for Sunday. This should shake up the order and drivers like Verstappen could gain a very strong result and give us some good action!
