Force India Reveal the VJM10

February 22, 2017

Force India have launched their 2017 F1 car, in Silverstone earlier today. After achieving an impressive fourth in the constructors’ championship last year, they are aiming for the top three this year. The livery is very similar to 2016, although the design of the car itself significantly different to its predecessor.

Despite hoping for a strong performance in 2017, Mallya says that it it too early to know where they will be this year relative to other teams:

“Simply repeating our performance level of 2016 will be a big task in itself…I don’t want to set goals or targets other than to say that we intend to maintain the momentum we have built up in recent years and carry it into the new season. There are too many unknowns to say more than this.”

The car was revealed by Perez and Ocon, who is new to the team this year. Both drivers are confident that the car will be competitive, with Ocon saying that he hopes to score in every race.
