This week Pirelli are doing a two-day wet tyre test. Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull are helping in the test, with drivers using the 2015 cars. Daniel Ricciardo was fastest, with Vandoorne 0.4 seconds behind him. Both Ferrari and Red Bull competed all 10 sets of 10 lap stints, but McLaren were unable to complete the program due to technical problems.
The test is being conducted at the Paul Ricard circuit in France, with the track being artificially soaked using sprinklers. Kvyat and Vettel will be swapping with Ricciardo and Raikkonen for tomorrow’s test, but Vandoorne will continue for McLaren.
