In just two days time, Hamilton or Rosberg will be crowned world champion. With Rosberg leading by 12 points, the title is his to lose. The championship battle, however, is not the only story of the weekend. It is the final race for two much loved and well respected drivers, Felipe Massa and Jenson Button.
Hamilton storms to pole in Abu Dhabi, three tenths quicker than teammate Rosberg. However, with second place, Nico is still on track to seal the title. The others were a long way back; Ricciardo and Raikkonen, in third and fourth respectively, were over eight tenths off the pace.
Nico Rosberg is crowned world champion by finishing second in Abu Dhabi. Hamilton did all he could to prevent this from happening, almost succeeding in backing Rosberg into Vettel and Verstappen. Despite team orders to speed up, Lewis continued at the slow pace, allowing their rivals to close in. But it wasn’t quite enough…
